Posts on /neighbors are written by residents. If one uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell us and we will take it down. This page is for neighbor posts; for anything else on the site, the original publisher is credited and linked on every item.

Counter-notices

If your post was taken down and you believe that was a mistake, email the agent above with: your physical or electronic signature; the post that was removed and its address; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any district where we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us they have filed a court action, we restore the post 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

Each post removed after a valid copyright notice counts against the account that posted it. After 3 such removals, the account can no longer post. We may also close posting sooner for clear, deliberate infringement.
