Kenton County Detention Center to host sixth annual Trunk or Treat

The Kenton County Detention Center (KCDC) will host its sixth annual Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Children of all ages are invited to this free event.

The festivities will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the facility’s main parking lot, with local organizations and agencies on hand to give out candy to trick-or-treaters.

“The work our team does every day isn't always visible to the public, but it's an essential part of keeping Kenton County safe,” Kenton County Jailer Marc Fields said. “Being part of events like this allows us to step into the community, spend time with families and give back to the people we proudly serve.”

Each year, KCDC's Trunk or Treat ranks as one of the County's largest single-day events, with more than 500 children participating last year.

The Kenton County Detention Center is located at 3000 Decker Crane Lane in Covington.
